	Since my Mother died, aged 65, I have found a great deal about her ancestry, mainly through this site. Similarly with my Father. I've found not only their grand parents but also their great grand parents, not to mention a host of aunts and uncles and cousins. I don't have any sons or daughters. I wonder who would remember me.

Member Since: May 2007 Posts: 25,620 Send Message	I just spoke to my Aunty on the phone She is 89 today,and is in a nursing home.She asked me how my mum was !.She obviously forgot that mum died nearly 4 years ago.She was so upset that her best friend had died.She then said she would tell Ron (her OH) who died years ago .Said he was coming home at the end of the year.He must still be fighting in the war!!!! Interesting conversation.But she is happy enough.If I am still around at 89 I hope I will be like her.

	were have all the over 50's gone we need to keep this very friendly thread going, since what happend yesterday with 2 more members going lets start again with If you remember when TV Used to be black and white You find you’re getting broader But your shrinking in your height If before you go to bed Your teeth go in a jar And you forget what your doing Before you’ve gone too far If your bladder gets you up In the middle of the night You get up in the morning And you look an awful sight If you’re not breaking hearts You’re breaking wind instead When you’d sooner stay at home And watch TV in bed Then my friend I say to you You’ve finally reached the stage That is what is called The golden years of age
