I am sure that Deanna will have good and bad days after such a shock to her system, she is a strong willed lady so hopefully she will overcome all obstacles and return to us. Deanna, come on love, we miss you so much, get well for us.

just phoned Allan and Deanna was,nt to good yesterday abit weep,but he said its early days yet and hopes shes going to be ok,i told him we were all here for Deanna and he said it was her lifeline being on gr,so just thought i would let you no

Jean, I just wanted her to get something from us all as quickly as possible to help cheer her and so she knew we were all rooting for her, hence writing out all the names, I thought too it would help boost her memory and recall.

Would be nicer if we could flood her with cards etc but no point if she isn't allowed to have them with her to keep re reading.
Maybe later they will move her to a different ward so she can have cards and flowers then we can do more to help.

Let's hope Allan stays ok and Tony too, so they can keep visiting and passing on messages.

Lets hope those antibiotics have kickedin now,and the infection will clear soon.She doesn't that on top of everything else.

I'm really sorry this has happened to Deanna - I hope she makes a full recovery.

Missed this yesterday. Thanks Liz for Tony's message. Loving thoughts for Deanna. My Dad was depressed after his stroke, I am sure it is all part of the illness.

This is the message I got yesterday, from Tony, bless him.

Hi Liz,
I took my mum the cards she has received today and she was very touched, she had a good cry over the list in your card. Her ability to read comes and goes at the moment, but luckily it was ok today. She has developed an infection and is now on intravenous antibiotics (it resisted the oral ones) and a saline drip due to dehydration, She has been very very depressed but I think all the cards and your list gave her quite a boost.

Isn't that lovely, I wrote out the names of everyone on the first thread, there were three pages from a writing pad with two columns of names on each page, inside a card which I sent from all her pals on gr. All those names must have given Deanna quite a boost and stirred up some memory reaction too I hope. She will know how much we all care.

Hi Julie Ann,thank you but as long as i can keep my friends smiling its what i,ll do,dont think about myself when my friends need me,sometimes i think i crack them up as they dont have clue sometimes what i say
