I refute the majority of what you say about the site.......there are some pretty serious accusations in there ..........and unless I walk around with my eyes closed most of the time.........totally untrue........but thanks for taking the time to post ......and an apology for blaming GRlot for GR's closure would be appereciated......that's just yet another example of how things get twisted........good day.

2 wrongs dont make a right either & Kay you're no bystander, your the group members mate & have defended them recently to the hilt on here.including today whilst knowing about and watching their actions towards members.

1.......FTF,

people retaliate in the first 24 hours or so against those who have spoiled gr to the point of closure. Unkind things were said but were quickly moderated, and stopped from happening ever again...the site is bigger and better than ever 2 years on, with no nastiness..a real good genealogical site.

2 ,,Eldricks collection of vile groups & sites

Deliberately set up to plot revenge on all those the group disliked.

Threats made towards people, people ridiculed, plotting to get members banned.... plans to stalk a woman by going to her home....people gleefully mass reporting members to gr....new accounts being discussed by the banned to rejoin to hurt more people & seek revenge

Yeah...no comparison

The latter reminds me of a ring master and his troupe of circus animals.

This is my last word on this thread...you all have shown yourself up, those involved that is..and no matter of denial will change that.

Your ringmaster on blog has now worried innocent people who have mailed me over his spouting about Ip addresses and are worried they will be traced for by the nutter he is showing himself to be

Wrong Elaine. It was nothing to do with GRlot when the site closed down for 2 days and FTF or xgr or whatever it was originally called was founded........it was to do with a spat between two people on the tips board and a suspension of a member........please get your facts straight.

If you don't like the other sites I frequent Elaine.......simple answer.......don't read them........

At least FTF diddnt shut & open again twice more as a closed site to continue the nastiness as the one you all seem so proud to be part of. At least the knee jerk of nastiness was stopped , the site moderated and anything adverse aimed at anyone was banned from thereon.

No comparison between FTF and eldricks 3 groups, and not to mention the closed gr site.and the blog.
