Certainly Tolkien is not everyones cup of tea....C.S.Lewis liked his work though and was not at all adverse to pinching snippits Tolkien read him and re-inventing them for his Narnia stories........lol |

I only ever pick up my old copies.........a friend bought me a Deluxe copy for my 21st ( many years ago ) but I have never read it....to posh for the likes of me.........I prefer the pages with candle wax and tea dribbles on them and the odd tears stain..........lol |

Jax..........I once read the whole thing in six days....whilst hiding most of the time in the very large airing cupboard ( Mum and Dad would think I was out but I'd be holed up in the cupboard reading undisturbed ).........looking back I would be disturbed if one of my lot did that...........lol |
