Dear Caz, my heart goes out to you, my prayers are with you and your family.
I've walked the same road, as my Dad was diagnosed with the same type of the Big C, and said something similar, he was more worried about Mum than himself. His battle was over 3 weeks after it began, and I think he would be truly proud of how Mum pulled herself up and became a wonderful role model of strength, for her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren.
It's so hard to watch anyone suffer, especially someone you've loved your entire life.
