I agree with the others. I know it sounds unusual but it also sounds lovely. As for flowers blood red or something similar that would contrast sounds good too. Try googling flowers and see what's available and what would look good.

My cousin's daughter married recently and her adult bridesmaids wore black with fuschia detailing.
Quite striking.

Your wedding dress should be your choice.

when my son was married my lovely daughter in law chose a bouquet that had lots of orange gerberas in it - it looked gorgeous and those flowers come in so many vibrant colours - why not go for some of those? Less traditional than roses or carnations and more in keeping with the black - you stick to your guns - your special day and bridal outfits nothing whatever to do with the groom or anyone else for that matter!!!!

An idea!!!!!

why not make the entire wedding (main players, guests, reception etc etc) a black and white theme? that way you get what you want (and you'll outshine all of them anyway) and it could be fun for the guests to find appropriate things to wear.

I'll shut up now cos I'm rambling! ))))

Sounds very dramatic - but go for it! I wanted to get married in red - but had my mind changed!!

Flowers - well depends what time of year it is - you could either go for a sort of monochrome look throughout or inject some dramatic colour there.

It is your choice, nobody elses. It sounds very smart. In 1981 Our daughter had brown for her older bridesmaids and pale pink for the little one, it looked very effective as it was an autumn wedding.

do you mean you can't decide on the flowers? How about red?

Charley I wanted black for my wedding and it was frowned upon, stupidly I bowed down and had gold but regretted it ever since.

Go with what you want it is your big day x

Yours is a very individual unconventional choice, If that is the colour you want then you go with it, If anything, I'm sure people will admire you for being brave enough to be a bit 'different' good luck.
