I have another one. John Sully born Somerset 1846. i can find him with his wife Mary Jane born 1848 Durston somerset in 1871 living in Portsea Hampshire. |

I think I may have found Richard Cox in the 1851 under Richard Cook in the workhouse in Southampton. Date of birth and place and occupation (shoe maker/cordwainer) all match. |

Annoying all these diff spelling..I guess it down to the fact alot of folks back then had little education and so spelt names etc as they sounded. |

Ben, I suspect my coachman may have died in Brighton as he was taken ill there is 1832, I have a letter from his employer to his wife telling her he was ill. But I can't fins his death in Brighton either. Then or later! |
