Dear Eldrick,
Are you for real? or are you jesting with us??
we have a reasonable sized garden, and for the first time in my life I have planted a few veggies....I am really pleased as they appear to be growing well so far, and already I am contemplating what to plant next...
as a bit of a wine drinker....I am interested in your homemade elderflower wine....would you need a lot to ''have ago'' .......and how long...and how easy is it?

its elderflower champagne - dead easy.

10 ltrs cold water, 2 lemons, 4 tbs white wine vinegar, 40 or so flower heads, 1.5kg sugar

Squeeze the lemons into the water, add sugar, white wine vinegar, flower heads. Leave for 48 hrs then strain and bottle in 1ltr plastic pop bottles.

2 week slater drink, well chilled!

It is gloriously fizzy and so refreshing - like an angel crying on yer tongue :-)

you may just be in time if you can find any - I started another batch this morning, theres plenty of blossom left here

Otherwise wait till the berries appear and make some wine - I like to make batches of blackberry and elderberry seperately, then mix them when they are ready.
