Do you mean is the world a globe or is it a flat circle? Sort of like a frisby?

Dod you know that the Flat Earth Society still exists even today?

The sun is a strange concept - why is it only visible during the day...?

Wow Errol, I think its because those Australians pinch it half the time......and they always seem to get more of it that we do.......greedy blighters.......they call us winging poms, well they would winge too if we pinched their sun.....

There are millions of suns.

Or do you mean how many are there in our solar system? The answer to that one is one.

I can honestly say I have seen the curvature of the earth so it must be round :))

If you stand on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah (I have) you can see the curvature of the earth!

Eldrick Report 30 Jun 2008 14:45

But is it round or spherical?

A ball or a frisby?

If its a frisby, whats on the other side? Is that where the UFO's come from?

NDD

NDD Report 30 Jun 2008 14:46

It would be really interesting to know what you base this assertion on?

Presumably, it is an assertion as you are stating it as a fact as opposed to a theory, so it will be interesting :-)
