Churchill was a lovable rogue. You couldn,t be a war leader and caring at the same time. He was a leader, what the country needed then and needs almost as much, now.
As a boy he filled me with pride and people would follow him anywhere.
Without him, we would all have been speaking German now.

I believe that Churchill was a wonderful prime minister,and that we may have been under German rule now if he hadn't been the leader,and that's what he was...a great leader
I was at school during the war,and as someone said he was charismatic and a true Brit.He stood up for his principles,even crossing the House once to the other side for his beliefs.
Travelled on a train with him,from London to Manchester when I'd been on a school trip,this was after the war,but he had "presence" unlike a lot of ours today who seem to be out for themselves.
A wonderful artist as well.

Instead of "Concentration Camps" insert "Gulags" similar thing just a different name.Errol,If you want to get a real insight into Winston Churchill,Read His Book," The History of The English Speaking People" His use of Language is brilliant,such as." There were the Good Times, There were Bad Times,and the "Voice of the Turtle was heard in the Land" **M**.

I was referring to the fact..of it becoming daylight..and made a reference to vampires..it had no bearing on you..or anything..Im sorry if you misunderstood..I was making a joke being a vampire..
