Think I might be in Ipswich for a concert that weekend. If I could come, I would probably use the trains if the line is still working lol, been lots of problems lately.

Hi Jules anywhere outside the one way system is fantastic for me. Just googled both pubs look fine and locations are quite good for access.

How about Sat 12th July Jules, is that too short notice?

As for partners and children, as long as the pub caters for kids i am happy for each individual to make up their own mind as to whether they invite them (mine wont be coming but thats coz i am mean and fancy a day out on my own haha)

Just a suggestion or two....

As Weatherspoons is in Town how about a meeting place easier to find & easier to park.....both my suggestions would be suitable for those...

Also, are we talking a family meet ie partners & children or not...??....might make it easier for some attending if babysitters don't have to be found....??
Not been to a meet before so not sure what the norm is.

I will quite happily make some calls once we have some numbers etc....

I'm not available most of August n away 21st to 29th September.

Even if I'm unable to attend I'm happy to help with arrangments etc....

Hi Webster, I was at the previous Chelmsford meet too - it was a nice pub (Weatherspoons as Annie says) in the centre of town. Best place to park is the ERO which is only £3.50 (ish) per day - much cheaper than the multi-storeys!
Would be interested depending on date - if it's a day when I am child-free then I would deffo come :-)
