	My son, 13, is actually talking about going into the RAF. As he'd be doing it voluntarily I am more than happy for him to go down that route. If he was going to be forced to do it, and be taken away from a productive life outside the forces for 2 years or so, then I would be very much against it. And as has been said, the Military don't want people there who don't want to give 100% to the job. For one thing it makes it far more dangerous for the other personnel around them.
