Evelyn,

Are ya sayin' that us hicks are thick? Just cos we marry our cussins don't mean we can't tell a cow from a barn.

Colin dear chap.

Its plain from your anti police snidy little comments that you want a fight. Well, thats OK with me.

I never get personal first, but go for it me old fruitcake, I'm happy to play along! Your pal Ron will no doubt make a guest appearance soon as well :-)

Sadly, I have to go out in about 40 minutes, to take my spirit guide for a walk. I will ask him ( I think its a him) what his opinion on UFO's are. You being such a firm believer in that stuff will no doubt take his answer as gospel - or perhaps you might want to email gerbil face Fry and ask his old pal Magnus the same question? You know, the one that says bees cant fly and other such victorian claptrap?

Hmmm..........

I wonder why these super intelligent beings would want to come here. In particular land in such places as rural Kentucky, where the IQ level of many of the residents is a smidgeon above blue green algea, let alone take these people aboard there crafts and probe them!!!!! You would think they would try to get a more diverse cross section, maybe the odd time land on a university campus or a major city but no it always seems they choose the backwaters.

Please aliens, if you want to have an inkling into what we humans are about could you pick on someone who has all there own teeth and can string a sentence together

I suppose if 5 different people saw an UFO you would get five interpretations as to what it was according to how their minds prioritised events.

Those with analytical minds would try to find a simple explanation, those with artistic minds would take the opposite route, those with no minds would just agree with one of the others.

Colin the evidence is that they saw something not what that something was

Staffs Col

Staffs Col Report 14 May 2008 17:34

Eldrick, what do I need to apologise for?

Staffs Col

Staffs Col Report 14 May 2008 17:33

If police officers or other professionals report something, is that not evidence? do we not trust them? If so what exactly is evidence. Evidence can be rigged, lied about or non existant, will our UFO have to appear physically before every 'earthling' before it can be accepted

Here we go again.

You are starting from the premise that something is true and then trying to fit the facts to prove that theory.

Instead of looking for evidence that is NOT purely anecdotal and asking questions to establish the veracity of the reports or whatever.

You can play the same game with the characters from the Lord of the Rings.
