Hi John, I can talk about the R Navy but don't do sport. Father was in the R Navy and Husband was in fleet Air Arm, he served on HMS Eagle. Father was on HMS Durban, he was a CPO Writer - I guess before your time. husband was a CPO Artificer R/E 1955-1968 |

Hi Red Squirrel, The only 'Merchant' types I was associated with were Royal Fleet Auxilleries. attachted to the Royal navy, I was on loan to these for a while when these were with the fleet - canny number - British officers, foriegn crews. Treated like 'God'... John.. Tomatoes ? the salt water kept spoiling them.. lol.. john |
