My mum was always too embarassed to buy her own Dr. Whites and sent dad to local shop. They always wrapped the pack in newspaper to hide them. Then poor dad would walk home with them tucked under his arm!!

Doc,

Sorry I am not having a go either, each of us lovely women deal with it differently. You obviously have siblings who are nice! Daughters and I were the opposite, OH and son could 'press our buttons' without even trying. If they tried to offer sympathetic understanding they would get slaughtered. They soon learnt that it was better to leave us to curl up and groan together.

SueM, I am not having a go at you or the thread or any other in here, but that is how I deal with the fact of life, I see no sence walking out when if fact comfort is what the fems is asking for.

right or wrong?

Sue

Sue Report 10 May 2008 11:51

Doc,

OH Report 10 May 2008 11:48

SueM; as I have pointed out,
I do not claim to understand what the fems go through, and so in my house, I tread softly.
But I can see the change coming on and therefore am a bit prepared.

Sue that has been proven....when I used to work with all females...we used to end up on the cycle...hormones everywhere....and when my sisters and I still lived at home .....I remember my poor mother running around feeding us Indian brandy...lol

Doc,

If you can recognise when moods are on the swing it's time to leave the house not tread softly...lol

My two daughters and I always seemed to peak with PMT together OH and son soon made themselves scarce.

OH

OH Report 10 May 2008 11:34

SueM; who said they understand mood swings?

Sue

Sue Report 10 May 2008 11:32

If men had the babies there was would be an awful lot of single children!!!!

And as for men saying they understand the mood swings!

NO YOU BL**DY DON'T. Do you know the self control we exercise in order NOT to run you through with the nearest knife? Realise that when you say "is everything alright" we want to poke your eyes out with a blunt instrument? Do we? No. Woman are wonderful!

*waits for men to counter with a recount of some terrible injury they have suffered at the hands of a woman with PMT*

OH

OH Report 10 May 2008 10:27

Juliecat, I know you were not bashing me, as I am not bashing the thread, as I said, I don't understand what fems go through, but I have a fair idea, as I grew up with 5 sisters, I have the ability to notice when moods are on the swing and begin to tread softly.
