Claire,

I always saw Surname information as where people can give out information that they already have. eg what they found out about their family tree or the surname they are researching :-) Not that it seems to be used like that lol

Yep this board def needs bringing up to date....with choice of add-ons,,that would do away with all the .

I'd probably go for

Chat old format & never go near because I could never be bothered to read enough

General as it is with but to include the threads (not bars) from Chat

Turn History into Hugs & Support

Tips for tips

Then I'd have a Living Lookup Board & a Deceased Lookup board

No idea what to do with Surname Information

I agree with that more, Keith - a site I use has loads more than this - for quizzes and 'hugs n support' and things like that. Seems to work quite well.

Quite honestly .............. I don't think that there is anywhere near enough Boards on this site.


There should be at least another dozen, just to cater for the diverse preferences that all seem to converge on the General Board

I think the general board should be called quiz board as there seems to be a lot of quiz's
