I think your cousin has the right Idea ,but if I have lots of bits of paper I copy out word for word all onto one sheet as I have kicked myself for info lost that didn't look important at the time but did in the bigger picture :))

I am not one to keep all notes if they don't seem to tell a story, but the cousin that finds them all does keep them, just in case.

constantly on the job Cat,, we have one way distant cousin who's joy in life is looking for history, up til xmas he has sending through anything that appeared with the name "LEAR" in it, got what seems to be couple thousand email with little paper clippings or court notes, anything and everything he kept, just incase.
