Nothing wrong with a debate as long as it stays that way .I find other peoples beliefs and there reasons intresting

Robert Report 3 May 2008 21:38

Very sceptical there are a lot of charlatans out there.
I do understand that a lot of berieved people need a straw to clutch at and theres absolutley nothing wrong or strange about that.
If and only if the dead could talk even through a spirit guide.do thy want their peace disturbed let the dead rest.
Never been to a seance nor would wish to us

Ok, this is not really a place for a discussion about the nature of God.

An individuals belief in the nature of a supreme being is a personal thing and it is not up to any individual to tell another that their belief is the right one.

Jenxx Report 3 May 2008 21:31

I'm not asking you to say your God is more real or important than anyone else
I asked which one you believed in

Eldrick Report 3 May 2008 21:30

There is only one god, eh. Hmmm. Not sure if that statement woul dmeet universal agreement lol

tory

tory Report 3 May 2008 21:28

There is only one god !

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 3 May 2008 21:25

It is matterless which god I believe in - who am I to say my god is more real or important than someone elses...?

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 3 May 2008 21:22

Well, that brings us to a very fundamental question.

Which god?

The hindu god? The muslim god? The buddhist god The christian god?

Why does it have to be a god who is the only one that knows?

Why cant the spirits communicate that to us....?

I have deja vu quite a lot (well occasionally lol) but don't put it down to anything spiritual. Just that it reminds me of something that I've forgotten.

However, the strongest feeling is when I stroked a dolphin for the first time, I had felt I HAD done that before but I know I hadn't.

No-one can answer all the questions that need answering unless they're God! Has anyone read about the very recent psychic who told a woman in his audience that her gran had come through, and said she knew she was abused? No-one else knew but the woman has gone to the police and the man admitting his guilt.

Eldrick Report 3 May 2008 21:17

SM - never seen a ghost. Whilst I am merely sceptical about spiritualism, I am absolutely sure that there are no such things as ghosts, lol. Put me in the most haunted house in the world and turn out the lights and I wouldnt care a hoot.

I have never had a deja vu nor experienced any paranormal activity at all.

I'm quite a sceptic but was very impressed with Louise that used to post on here.

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 3 May 2008 21:07

OK SRS, I'm familiar with that concept - is it a buddhist thing...I think its a far east religion and I must admit to finding it a more convincing concept than most western explanations that I've heard.

I admit to inclining in that direction rather than a spirit world that seems rather chaotic to say the least.
