apparently his xrays show an improvement too, which is great, although he must stay on the machines helping him breath for a while yet.

You lot are amazing x Thank you SO much for all the positive thoughts and the candles... I have not had a chance to read them all as I am up and down to ITU to see Bill. Well he looks like he has the london underground map on his pillow, there are more tubes and wires than ever. The docotrs say that his X ray is showing signs of improvement and as you all know his temp is normal (hooray).. He has a lot more colour now as they gave him 2 bloods yesterday. They are not saying when they will try and get him off the machine as they want to be sure that he can hold his Oxygen levels, Dr's have warned me that if he comes off and he can't hold them he will have to go back on it. I will worry about that IF it happens not now. Your prayers are working and I thank you ALL. I have to say this is the worst week of my life and I think I am dreaming.
Did have a little smile today though... found a label stuck under his chin (must of fallen off something in Intensive care)... It read "Change on Saturday!" I asked them what could I change him for ! They all smiled x Excellent Nurses he has 1 to 1, 24hrs a day..

I know he can hear me cos he lifts his arms towards me when I speak x
My friend is coming to the hospital for the week end, she is Billy's respite carer so that will be lovely if she makes it x

Well Again I can't thank you all enough for everything. I am sorry if I have not replied to all x I will when I can x x
