I do believe in that life goes on in spirit and that the spirits of our loved ones remain around us and with us.

Blue eyes - not heavy but beautiful.

My friend who was on life support came and stood before me I reached out to touch her and she just smiled and faded away. This was four hours before they switched off the machine and declared her dead. She also visited three other friends at exactly the same time she visited me. As I said the veil is very thin.

Gosh, I didn't expect this site to be so deep or so lovely.

Yes I do believe in life after death, my dear Gran was a Spiritualist and used to speak to the spooks or her visitors as she used to call them, used to scare the c#*p out of me when I was younger. I don't possess her talent unfortunately.

Without being depressing, I held my premature girl when she was dying and felt her leave long before her body gave up, since that moment I've not been afraid of dying, I know they're waiting for me.

I can't see the wind but I can feel it, I can't see heaven but I can feel it. xx

My Mum and I talked for England when she was alive. It is nice to continue a link if/when possible after they have gone.
Doesn't mean we aren't sensible, Dermot!

I'm not an advocate of 'talking to the dead'. I prefer to speak to them while they are alive. Much more sensible, don't you think?

Well this might throw a spanner in the works!

As I have told before, I got a message from my late Mum at a spiritualist evening in our local Spiritualist church. I hadn't decided to go until the last minute and had been told there would be two women on the stage, from London. One would talk about the person with the message and the other would draw the person she saw at the same time. The one drawing the pictures had her back to the audience. After a while it was obvious that the person sending a message, after several other people had received messages and pictures, was my late Mum. I was sitting among lots of people, the place was full, and nearish to the back of the room. I couldn't be seen that well from the stage. The message came through from Mum which was completely convincing to me, as she mentioned something which I had done, and no one had known about it, it happened after Mum's death and while I was alone in a certain house.
When I went up later, the woman gave me Mum's picture and remarked how alike we were, altho the picture was definitely not of me, it was my Mum to a T even wearing a hat as Mum used to when going out. They also told me more of what Mum had said but they hadn't mentioned, about some more intimate details of one of her ailments, which they had said during the reading they didn't think they would disclose to all and sundry. The only thing the picture didn't have was Mum's specs, I queried this and they said she probably doesn't need them now.
I still have the picture somewhere.

The only thing I wonder about is what happens when a person has remarried after being widowed. Will the previous hubby be there waiting as well as the last one or vice versa lol? I suppose as it is all meant to be peace and harmony away from this world, they won't mind sharing the company of their loved one.
I always find a lot of comfort in the thought of those leaving us meeting with others they have loved and missed. Bet my Mum is always there with the tea and cakes, it was her forte!

Yes I certainly believe in life after death. I have had many experiences of the surety of this which are too numerous to write here. The veil between this life and the next is VERY VERY thin indeed.

Goodnight everyone.

there's more in heaven and earth than we will ever know or understand I'm sure - I truly hope I will meet my lovely OH again and I am not afraid of dying in the sure hope that we will meet again - I cannot believe that spirit dies - bodies die but spirit goes on

I firmly believe in life after death. I just can't believe that something so wonderful and precious as life will just come to a full stop. I also believe that it will be our spirits that meet, we will all be ageless, and that there will be no bad feelings or worries.

I hope there is no reincarnation Roxanne. Once is enough for me thank you lol.

Some people believe that we come back until we have learnt all of life's lessons.
I reckon they know I wont come back, so they are throwing the book at me this time round!

I would certainly believe there is life after death due to experiences i've had ,some my own feelings that later came to pass and messages from mediumistic people ,some of which have been very evidential .We are made of energy and science has taught us that nothing is lost .One energy is diverted into another .We only have to look at ancient religions asuch as the american indians , egyptians etc to know this is true.xx
