Must watch it again on iplayer :-) Don't even ask me how many times I watched the previous episode lol

Jeanette if your watching - I've just had a thought.....now there are two Doctors out there....perhaps we can come to some arrangement. What's your favourite colour - Brown or Blue?

I thought Elizabeth's acting was fantastic too. They were all great.

I loved the Tardis scene where they were all around the console.

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/cult/a106928/sladen-unlikely-to-return-to-doctor-who.html

Elisabeth Sladen believes that she will never appear in Doctor Who after the current season. The actress reprised her role as former companion Sarah Jane Smith in the two-part finale 'The Stolen Earth/Journey's End', but felt that it will be her character's swansong on the show.

Sladen told Doctor Who Magazine: "This time, actually, I said to David [Tennant], 'I've never thought this before, but I think this is the last time I'll be here'. It felt like it was my last time on Doctor Who. I'm happy with that," she continued. "You have to stop somewhere. And then I thought, well, I'd better enjoy these episodes. And I did. I had the most amazing time. It's been fun."

Since being a series regular in the 1970s, Sladen has returned to the show on several occasions and is currently filming a second season of CBBC's The Sarah Jane Adventures.

... and Rose has the other one ... :-)

I enjoyed it, poor old Daleks though, but all loose endings were neatly tied, so to speak.

You can watch again tomorrow on TV, I think .... :-)

I was so pleased to see K9.

Next Episode:
Christmas, BBC One

It was an edge of the seat episode, I knew he wasn't going to change. And Rose got her Doctor, well his human version anyway. lol Roll on Christmas.

Preview-ish: The 'Doctor Who' Finale
This week on Doctor Who, erm... well... you see... I don't know what happens.
Yes, for the first time I've not been allowed a glimpse of the final episode. Can you believe it?!
Truth be told, I would feel more offended but this blackout is absolute. No-one in the media has been able to see the frighteningly-titled 'Journey's End', meaning we'll all be watching the season climax for the first time together this Saturday.

I can, however, share these rather curious pictures of scenes from the finale:

As we can see, Sarah Jane doesn't die (but then, she was never going to, seeing as she has her own spinoff show and all). Plus, Jackie and Mickey return! There's no sign of Pete Tyler.

Next up, courtesy of those lovely people from Blue Peter, a 30-second clip of the finale. Hit 'play' below to watch:

Is Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman) going to die in the finale of Doctor Who?

Neil: When I spoke to her earlier this year about the finale, she said that the door had been "left open" for her character to return. Read into that what you will.

Do we have a start date for The Sarah Jane Adventures? And can you confirm mickey and martha are the Torchwood replacements for series 3 ?

Neil: Sarah Jane season two is currently being filmed for an expected late September premiere on BBC One. I can't confirm anything about the new Torchwood additions, but personally, I'm hoping for newbies. Or a resurrected Tosh. Or even just the corpse of Tosh, I don't mind.

I like Irish accents, though a strong Cork one I find not easy to understand sometimes ... :-)

But he just doesn't seem to do an English accent (not when I have heard him); whereas Scottish David Tennant does a very good English accent. And the Doctor has always spoken in an English accent. Don't think that can be changed .... just like K9 - affirmative, master.

I don't wish to appear greedy but I'll have David and James if you don't mind! lol. Now, if they could just figure out a way to get celebrity tv chef James Martin into the script I could die a happy woman! lol

Joy....what's wrong with an Irish accent? *swoons*

Hi Joy.....it's too soon for him to go....I'm not ready yet.

I missed Christopher Ecclestone when he went but they had prepared us.

I'd wondered to myself where's Jeanette? ... :-)

James Nesbitt has been rumoured to be a future Dr Who, yes, but it seems to me that he can only do his native Irish accent.

Jeanette - I'll take David Tennant, you can take James Nesbitt. lol

Joy - I think I need therapy......

I'm really really not happy about this regeneration lark.

Devon Dweller Report 30 Jun 2008 10:46

My therory is ...they are trapped in a small pocket of time so although he regenerates for the end of this series when he returns to 'normal time' (ie the Christmas special) he will resume his last generation...our David :)
