Lesley, I had great difficulty finding this, yet again ;-)
and only managed to do so in the end by searching for Sarah Jane Adventures; found this then and http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards.page/board/general_chat/thread/1174833

So, did you enjoy the Dr who series that has just finished? Rory is my favourite companion after Sarah Jane :)

And did you see the Sarah Jane Adventures yesterday? Very enjoyable; very poignant.

The BBC has confirmed that this year's Doctor Who Christmas special will air on Christmas Day at 6pm.

The festive episode, titled 'A Christmas Carol', will be broadcast simultaneously on BBC One and BBC One HD. The show took the same slot in both 2008 and 2009.

The instalment, which features Harry Potter actor Michael Gambon and singer Katherine Jenkins, will be preceeded by variety show The One Ronnie and will be followed by a special Christmas edition of Strictly Come Dancing, featuring former Doctor Who star John Barrowman.

There's a house on Aickman road with a staircase that people go up, but never down... To solve the mystery of the man upstairs, the Doctor must pass himself off as a normal human being, and share a flat with Craig Owens.

SRS there was something in the way the new Dr hugged Vincent before leaving that made me cry, he finally caught that emotion that DT was so good at, there was 'truth' in it, which I hadn't seen from him up to now.

Hello Joy ~~~~~~

Good to see you first of all!!!

Yes I saw Vincent and the Doctor. It's one of my favourites of all time. I didn't seem to connect to the last few episodes but this one was fantastic. I thought the actor who played Vincent was superb and he even looked like him!!

I have to say I am not enjoying this series as much as the last. David Tennant was always going to be a hard act to follow but the storylines are not as strong.
