That if your face doesn't fit on GR you get ignored.

I have been a member since day 3 - 8th November 2002 and in all that time there have been very few of my threads that have had responses. This includes the night we got involved in a terrorist incident in Birmingham to which I received no response yet someone who heard about it on the radio had dozens of replies.

During illnessess and family traumas there have been 2 people who have always replied - one of whom no longer is a member unfortunately (hello Jude). Yet when others post something similar they get a huge response.

My biggest response to a thread? When I wrote about support for someone else.

Yesterday I PM'd a few people about something on the boards that people were offering support for. As I had not been around I asked for details so I knew whether to support or not. Although I know that most have been on the site today, I have had no replies.

So thanks everyone - you really know how to make someone feel welcome.
