I dont think that its a "Face" problem, but maybe more like the style or content of the thread/posting that either attracts more comment or leaves people uninterested in replying.....I have had one or two successes, that attracted more than two replies........but have had many that I deleted through lack of topicality? or interest.
I have found sometimes that the current Mood helps a thread or posting.

I hardly come on here now........... HOWEVER i am still registered and always will be.

Great site and great people. It will always be a clique site (hope i have spelt it right... not i think lol)

But its not just genes, its other sites too... dont take it personal,,, i did at first but dont.

I have met a load of nice people on genes some sadly departed now.... one of which said to me that i need to post more and not ask for help..without contributing.... so maybe its a vice-versa thing.... i think it is...........

Hi all, I am usually not on the boards during the day so miss lots that is going on, but if I see anyone in bother I will try and help out and don't actively ignore people. I thought things were a bit cliquey when I first joined just over three years ago but have made some wonderful mates and had a lot of love and support. If I see people who like to cause bother, I don't often add to their threads and sometimes there are threads that have been going between a few people for a while and they don't interest or appeal to me, so I ignore those. Really I am the same on here as in real life, I talk to anyone and if they don't want to talk back, well fine, I just find another victim lol
Keep trying Jscky and others and I am sure you wil be as lucky as I am and find people who you can chat with and feel on the same wavelength as you.

I try not to ignore people but although I read the board at some point every day
the threads move so fast sometimes I do seem to miss a lot as I pop in and out.

Hello Jacky, I have been on nightshift so have just seen this. I very rarely put up my own threads and usually just jump in on other peeps, mostly I just read them. I have been ignored often, and I have been aknowledged too. I think it happens to everyone sometimes. Please keep on posting. shirley.x

There are a pretty small handful of people on here that only interact with each other.
Because they post fairly prolificaly it can seem at times like you are being ignored but the vast majority of people on here talk to and interact with everyone.

Jacky, it works both ways. I often replied to your threads and you usually ignored me so I don't bother very often now. I just assume my posts aren't to your taste.

We all appeal to different people and you've had a lot of replies here so try not to take it to heart.

Yes it is like that sometimes Jackie,,,,but i have to say,,,,when i was deperate and alone when my husband left me ;the guys on here where there for me..

I dont post very often at all now,at one stage I tried to join in with as many threads as possible to get my"face" known but have given up now but I must add the responses I have had to any of my previous threads posted has been great particularly when my son was going off to Uni and yesterday 3 lovely ladies replied on my thread about something that I needed to rant about-thankyou ladies!

Hi Jacky Oh I sometimes feel the same don't start a thread very often for that reason but there are some great people on here .
Don't take it personally I think a lot just get comfortable with the same names.
