I've already signed up for a Cancer Research 5km Race for Life in May (I'll be walking it because I have a bionic ankle held together with bits of metal and screws!) and have so far got £225 sponsorship promised on my sponsorship page from the fellow members of a diy site that I'm a member of, although my target is £500, so I have a way to go. I find it humbling that strangers that I've never met are so generous! |
