Hello Steve, although I am not a bloke, I can add my 5 penny worth here.....

When I had a horse we had Discoverys to pull the trailer, and I loved them......although the 6 cylinder petrol white one was not kept for long as it was a gas guzzler and looked like and ice cream van....

We have both downsized ?, or rather I did, 2 years ago OH got his Jag.......but he just loves the one you describe and is after that one now.....

.......whether he gets it or not is another matter as I like the one he has now, .....

Steve, at least we agree on the web site!!

850cc, that wouldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding. If you have a petrol here it has to be at least 1400cc or your wasting your time. Diesel with a turbo is best to get up the hills. I love my 2.5L diesel turbo, so what if its a gas guzzler, it only costs me 45€ tax.
Lindy, it's not only men who like cars, I love them, but not sports cars.

Sueby, a girl after my own heart......I now have an 11 y.o. Nissan March (Japanese Micra) and I could have had a new one, but couldn't see the point of spending money when I just want to get from A to B......

.....it is a lovely nippy old thing, and I don't think its the sort of car the kids round here want to joyride in.....lol......no good for their street-cred....

Done the sports car bit......got fed up with fellas trying to prove their manhood when I drove......lol....

LOL ***Only*** £35k you realise I could get a flat for that, right? LOL.

Once you get a jag you're only a short step from a porsche and once you go there there's not way back LOL.

There are nicer cars out there, I think. Mind you...I drive a Meriva LOL

Lindy, 45euros tax...good grief. Well, I don't pay anything with being disabled, but still I can appreciate how great that is. LOL
