We'll have to agree to disagree, Benjamin. I wouldn't say Edgware was Central London but I do think of people from Edgware as being Londoners - same as Camberwell which as I'm sure you know was in Surrey. |

There is a difference between London and Greater London though. You wouldnt consider Enfield as Central London even though it is North. |

Benjamin, the Post Office don't yet have the power to say where a place belongs whatever postcode they give it:) Henley on Thames in Oxfordshire has an RG postcode, which is Reading in Berkshire. |

Edgware has a Middx post code though. It is techinically Middlesex, just may be considered as London. |

Till assistants who (because they know the customer in front of you) have a long in depth conversation with that same customer, oblivious to the fact that there is steam coming out of your ears and you are in danger of exploding at any moment. I have been known to snap "Any time this year would be nice ", I know its rude ,but then they are rude keeping me waiting while they yap to their friend. |

I live in Hemel Benjamin and can understand your irritation with these pseudo cockney/Londoners.......a lot of families moved into this new town from the East End.....I came from Camberwell..... |
