Christina if you have original 50's furniture you will be surprised at the prices it will fetch. There are collectors out there looking for that ! Val

May , no it was a 40's kitchen with a larder and war rations, the old type sink with draing board. The old armchair by the fire and her knitting just as she left it all. I put a little calender and marked the date of my birthday on it so was set in 1943

Think we have , we will have to talk again soon what interests one doesn't interest another and its surprising how many people, men and women don't have a hobby but Ithink it keeps the mind occupied and keeps one young at heart if not in body. By the way will you be going to the Wales meet? I'm closing down now, I've had supper so I'll say Good Night God Bless... May.

There is someone else on these boards who has one, is it Maggie from Winchester?
I had a small one, Dad got it secondhand and did it up and put a light in it for me, I loved it but it disappeared, it went to a younger relative. We are in touch by email and she mentioned recently what happened to the doll's house? Don't know why she thinks I should know? Wasn't very happy about it being passed on, a lovely handmade, 1920s dolls bed went too, with original bedlinen etc
My Mum got rid of lots of my dolls and things, I had no say, she cleared them out when I was living in Cambridge.
Have always wanted another doll's house, maybe if I get a granddaughter one day I will have an excuse lol
