Try it at the hairdressers, they will straighten it with them, you will see then just how well they work, and also get the technique.

Hagar dropped my camera before Christmas and it doesn't work now...it will cost as much as a new one to mend it. I've got some of me at the P'borough meet in september after using the ordinary ones....so maybe someone will get a pic onSaturday

Hayley i know they do...been there, done it.

Tina and Teresa...i totally understand if anyone can't afford it but sometimes people just don't understand what training hairdressers have to do...theory and practical.....

sorry to rant but when you've been on the receiving end of someone complaining about the cost it can get a little frustrating,

I too suffered from wavey hair then at the clothes show 7years ago, they were demonstrating them, the bloke offered to do my hair, I said if you can straighten this lot I'll buy a pair,
and he did, so I brought a pair. best hair product I have ever brought.
My daughter who does modeling, has modeled for GHD several times.and gets a lovely goody bag .with the latest straighteners and products, so she gives me her old ones,.
nice one

I'm with you Tina, I don't begrudge the prices truthfully speaking, but for years I coudln't afford to go to a hairdresser.

There was also the matter of trust...with my curly frizzy hair, no hairdresser seemed able to cut it in a way that suited it, always blunt cutting in a way more suited to straight hair. Nowadays they are trained better to deal with curly hair.

I appreciate very much that it is a skill, I am not undermining that - its just that I have not been able to afford to see a hairdresser for years and have had to learn to cut my own hair. Luckily its so straight and long that it makes trimming easy - I have only once had a mistake when my 2" off the ends ended up being 6" - must have been having a bad hair day pmsl.

Wife has had them for about 3 1/2 years.(cost £130)
She uses them every day.
They broke down after about a year and a half.
Phoned the service dept, they said to send them and they would have a look at them. They could not be repaired so they replaced them free of charge.
So cannot have any complaints.

i use mine every day and have done for about 4 years.....to be free of frizz is great.

Can people please stop moaning about the cost of hair cuts......hairdressers train for years and training is ongoing.....you are paying for their skill as well as their time

Aren't they just Tracey??

It's taken me ages to save up for these, and thankfully, because of a long gap, I've not been taxed on my salary so far since I've been at this job, so I finally got it together to get them.
