Not as much I used to .Took the children there every weekend for new books when they were in primary school. Then they introduced CD hire service, which was quite useful. They have all the mod cons there now as I suspect most libraries do, peeps have to book in advance to use the computer suite. I use it for research more than taking books on loan.

Have you ever had a parking or speeding ticket..?

Anne

Anne Report 31 Mar 2009 22:08

Anne Report 29 Mar 2009 16:02

I work in one and the early morning cleaners talk to them as they clean the Wilde Theatre [a new extension] I have had the experience of hearing sobbing in the ladies loos and have been the only one in there at the time.
Footsteps walking across the stage when the theatre is locked but the mics were accidentally left on and the techncians hearing them in the green room and lots of other happenings but I don't think I would stay there on my own overnight. Three suicides have also taken place, one by a member of staff, a young potter about 15 years ago.
