Uh-oh, Muffy you in trouble hun

Muffy moonface.....I would like a little word with you...2 infact....

My fingers, toes and anything else is crossed.

OH used to be in a job which was good wages but was lousy on our personal life to such a degree that after 2 years said that its the job or me! I hardly saw him. He would come home from work in the morning - take me to work -come back home to sleep then I would see him for 10 mins when I came home. No not good. I wish you all the best.

OH and I have learned that you WORK TO LIVE & NOT LIVE TO WORK. We have had to go without some things but OH has never been as happy with this new job. He has a driving job and been at it now for 4 years.

I'm with you all the way

OH is looking for another job - same company for over 25 years since he left school, local and good pay but crap hours - on 12 hour nights now - and the company has gone down hill

I want him to just leave and then get another job as he has no chance of a redundancy package and for his pension they will have him working til 65 which doing 12 hour shifts is a no goer at that age or even younger as he would be knackered mind and body due to the working conditions

I know what you mean about companies and brown stuff. My ex used to work for a couple of companies like that.

I will keep fingers and toes crossed for you both. I hope he has more luck than what I had this week.

I REALLY want OH to change his job....he does 4 12 hour night shifts .....then he's guaranteed two nights off...... (2 of the 4 night shifts are *shadows* where he may or may not work......depends on how busy they are).......

Anyway...... since the beginning of September he's had ONE shadow day given........ the company he works for are HUGE but they treat their staff like ...... brown stuff.

He's had to stay where he is for the mo as financially we can't afford for him to lose the money (it is really well paid compared to most local companies) anyhow........ FINALLY a job has come up with a company close by... money isn't AS good but not a disaster if we're careful.........the hours are bliss compared to what he's been doing. Only 8 hr night shifts mon to fri and he won't have to start work til 10pm rather than 6pm now which is a nightmare.

It would mean so much if he gets it. Please keep your fingers crossed for us that he gets it......... poor guy is fed up with the place he's at....... and I am too xx
