In that case don't forget Asda do a black blazer for £10 and M&S do one for £18. Twins school suggest we go to the school outfitters but no one bothers. I got twins M&S blazers and they seem to be lasting well, can wash them and dry them v easy. Was dubious about the cheapness of adsa blazers but speaking to parent whoes boys have them they seem to be fine. This does depend on whether you can buy the badge seperatly. We can. And saved small fortune. |

no worries Julie, have just applied for twins cards, as they travel home on the bus. Didn't get one when they started as back then it was only compulsary for 14 & 15 yr olds, also it cost a fiver then. was going to wait until they started getting questioned about their age. But this new rule has meant we've had to get them, but at least now they're free!! |

We always walked to school, even on the days when the weather was awful. Mum learnt to drive when I was 15 and so she would very occasionally pick me up from school. But it was a rarity. |

Julie, glad to hear the good news and even though he may not be thrilled now by the end of his first term he'll be loving it so much...the other school will already be beneath him ;-) I'm sure he'll do very well and if the school put on a good show for perspective pupils it says a lot... I doubt that many bother. |
