Hi! What's the weather like in your neck of the woods? It's very windy here in Cardiff and we have had some torrential rain but at the minute all is quiet

well the sun has come out in Cardiff - my son is in York at the minute - he's a train driver with Trans Pennine but waiting to come back to this area in a few months time - they made him give 6 months notice!!!! so he;s there till end of June.

I’ve had a lovely day off work so far, I thought it was about time I had some time to myself. Im glad the weather has held off as my son who is 23 rides a motorbike and he really suffers with bad weather as he has a round trip of 30 miles to work and back and I cant think of anything worse than damp clothes when the temperature is so low.
Come summer though it is wonderful for him to ride his bike.

Has anyone suffered any major damage with the storm? We haven’t really felt it in Yorkshire but I understand some places along the coasts have been really badly hit.
