Colin I have been my FT for over a couple of years now....I even have my own web site ....but it just sort of stopped.....I think sometimes you need to step back abit.......but when I am on to something I am like a dog with a bone and wont stop til I find it...lol

well maybe the week before last

Today..... I found a couple of notes that I hadn't added.... I had a lot of techno stuff and Family tree thingy 2008 from Santa... and I realised that i have slides and negatives of a few of the rellies... but needed a) to learn properly how to use the scanner, and b) get my head around FTM...... Still not sure I have with the latter, but getting there... but I have *puffs chest up with pride* scanned over 800 slides, negatives and photo's, and added names/dates etc to all those I could... it has taken me two whole days!!

Our lovely CC helped, as she told me one way of doing it.... Big sloppy Mwahh CC!!

My tree is beginning to look very pretty, lol!

ps, haven't put 800 photos on my tree, lol....... but they are there ready if I want to....... only got 5 carrier bags, 20 odd albums and a couple of boxes full to go now!! lol

I try to spend at least an hour a day on my tree (shhh I tell OH I am chatting ), but yes I do time every day

Sue ...I was being helped last night well till 4am by Summer Scribe and Susan with numbers and Claire......had a good laugh and found quiet a bit..lol

I try and do a bit every evening. I was seeing if I could find anything new about one branch last night but didn't really see much of any use.

A few days ago I thought I'd found an interesting connection to a family of French musicians. My daughter has access to university articles and I'd found something that might be relevant in one article then I e-mailed the author of the article.

I'm not sure there is a connection yet but it's given me a clue about where to look.

I have used the credit card a couple of times getting credits for Scotlandspeople.......mind you I have all the baptisms for my 4 x gt grandfather's siblings.......that was a couple of hours ago.....

I started off really well with the info i already had. I havnt used the services on here, exept once, and i found cousins attached to my ggmother! I find it takes ssssooooo long, you have to dedicate a whole day really to get youre head around it! And quite frankly i've been so addicted to these boards, i havn't found the time!
The good thing is i got my MIL started again as she didn't really know how to use the site!

Well I had every intention this afternoon but spent an hour and a half trying to find Annie Jones for Darren (see his thread on here) instead.
