Couldn't get down to the gutter, or rather wouldn't be able to get up again. But I'll join you if you find somewhere more comfortable to sit. Know how you feel Liz, I have real trouble getting out of cars and getting up from low chairs. It seems only yesterday I was heaving my Dad in and out of cars and chairs and now it iis me Lol!!!

Just my luck, missed out again, I will sit anywhere for a pasty! Even if it makes my backside even bigger, I don't care! I don't often fall but I do get stuck when I sit down, and have a real problem getting out of chairs and sofas, even the car seat.
Gwen, I think you can see you have an army of supporters here, so whoever wasn't kind to you, tell 'em to go and whistle!

My mum had a brain tumour for many years that destroyed her balance - it was usually hedges or bushes with her and she often took one of us with her as well! It's surprising how many really nice people you meet when you are sprawled out in the middle of a hedge.
