I think I may have found Margaret on the censuses, sometimes mistranscribed as Addison or Haddison; her birthplace is shown as Ilkeston, which is about 10 miles from Basford. She was a schoolteacher.
Does this sound like the right person?

Here's Henry's birth:
Births Jun 1878 Nunn Henry Ernest Basford 7b 173
I can't find Margaret's, but I think this must be her, mistranscribed as Hodgkin, because the only other Margaret Agnes born in Notts about the right time had the surname Chambers, and was born in Southwell. Unfortunately the original image is typewritten.

Sorry Mate…… Admission & Discharge Books for St. Margaret’s Poor Law Workhouse DO NOT start until 1860.
I did trawl St. Margaret’s Parish Church Baptism Registers 1838. ~42. But drew a blank for your Louisa Tomkins Daughter of a Ann. Tomkins.
So that has eliminated St. Margaret’s then. I’ll checkout other Parishes next time I go to the Record Office …..

Thanks Mike - I don't think the son remembers their ages, but I'll ask.
I was hoping this might be something you could find easily on your discs, but evidently not. If it means a long trawl through the Record Office, don't worry about it, because I have no idea which church they'd have been baptised at.
Yes, I'd found the burials of the others, thanks.
