Hi Mike

Thank you for looking for me. I had seen them on the 1891, thank you. I wonder if it could be him living in Roslyn St. At least its something to look into.

Can't wait for the 1911 census!!

Hi Mike
I wonder if you could help me. My g grandfather Ben Hipwell died in The General Hospital 1/12/1931-his age on death cert was 58yrs (he was actually 65 yrs). His address was 2 Swain St. Leic. The informant was the Chief Medical Officer.
Leics Rec. Office tell me that he was sent to Oxford for burial. I do not know of any connections he had with Oxford (though admittedly I can't trace him from 1874 -1899 and 1911 till his death is a grey area, and, he did get around a bit)
I was wondering if it should have read sent to Oxford Street or similar ? any ideas? A lady on the Records Office board has kindly checked burials in Oxford City - but no joy.
Please could you check the Welford Road burials.
Sorry this message is so long and thanks for your time.

Mike or compatriots! better a request than a plain old nudge!! Any chance of cd a look up?

Obviously you know I have the Death of Thomas Cooke Loughboro' 1835 age 54, buried 19th July. I cannot find a decent birth IGI ref. across three counties, so he maybe a Leics baby! If it proves so I can beg you to get a PR copy at Leics archives. (some kind soul is doing this for Notts, need a volunteer for Derby.

Given the burial date, birth/baptism is likely July 1780-Dec1781

Thank you in advance win or lose.

Greetings Mike
Can you please help with confirmation of birth parents in respect of Pauline TOMKINS b1872.
on 81 census she is shown with inlaws aged 9.
on 91 census she is shown as Dau of George /Jane TOMKINS aged 19 .George/Jane b1839/1850 respectively.
on 01 census she is with different inlaws aged 29.
I suspect Pauline to be the Dau of George b1851 and Mary b1844.
Your comments, as always appreciated.

Calling Mary O'Italy

I do believe I have just sent you a message with regards to James (H)Eld on Ancestry. Trying to decipher a couple of them at the moment mainly Ann Eld daughter of George, who was at Syston Street 1877 when she married a John Frederick Plummer. There is more in the other message I sent and I know it's distant to you but wondered if you were any further on with them that might help me. As soon as I pressed the send button, I knew who I had sent the message to !!! Sorry to double up

I got the message you sent through Ancestry about James (H)eld, which I've replied to.

I guessed you hadn't realised it was me :-)
