Hi Siobhan |

CelticShiv | Report | 20 Dec 2007 21:24 |
right something not right now. The Helen Stewart Duncan who married James Watt, is still in Scotland in 1901 with James, so it can not be your Helen (mother or Lilian). |

this is the Helen with james in 1891, which if is correct would work out she was pregnant with Lilian at this time?? |

I dont think Helen Stewart surname was Watt, there is a marriage on scotlands people for Helen Stewart Duncan to James Watt, 1888 Huntly in Aberdeenshire and it all ties in from the census. |

Heather | Report | 17 Dec 2007 22:21 |
Is Lilian scottish? - The mothers name would indicate that? Was the mother married or was her maiden name Watt? |

We need to find the marriage between Fred and Lilian. If we find that you can buy the cert for £7 from GRO online and that will give both of their fathers and their fathers occupations. From there you can work backwards. |
