on both my full sister's birth cert. and mine

We were born in Woking in 1944 and 1945. Registration District then (may still be for all I know) Surrey North Western
Registrar of births E. Conlong
Registrar for adoptions L.W. Welland
both adoptions were in 1946
We were separated and adopted to different families.
I am hoping that this means my sister went to the same area as myself, i.e. Guildford.

My half bro. born in 1948, had the same place of birth and birth registrar as us. but the adopted registrar was L.A. Clarke
I think he went to Sussex.

Interestingly on the certified copy for me of Entry in the Adopted Children Register dated 14th December 1946 the Registraf attesting the Entry in column 8 is E.J. Bowman.

b) significance - but there was a reference to E.J. Bowman in an earlier posting on this thread.

Anyone seen any reference to Jennifer Ann, born 22nd September 1945 in Woking Maternity Hospital.
Mother's names Muriel Ethel M........nee H.......... who lived at Queens Road, Bisley.
No father's name is on my sisters birth cert. Mother's husband was not her father. She is however my full sister.
