Looks like you may have it sorted, 1200 is the resolution (dpi) dots per inch, the higher the number the more finer the scan and the bigger th file, 1200 is far to high a resolution, that's why your files are so large, reduce it to 300 or even a bit less. |

Margaret, I had the same frustrating problem, I just COULD NOT understand how to do photos. Do you have someone nearby who could physically show you (the kid next door maybe)? Once I was shown I then learnt it quickly and it was so easy, I had been trying to change pixels and goodness knows what before. I didn´t need to do any of those things. Don´t give up Margaret, it is so rewarding having photos on your PC - makes your gen come alive. Good luck. |
