Maybe sylvia, it's possible, it definatley says Wentworth Yorkshire, and there is a real village called Wentworth in Yorkshire. Also the census which says that is a Welsh one so it's no as if they have jsut copied from the village name or something. She is only person on that census with that place of birth. |

In the 1871 there is a Jane Powell with them who is recorded as a daughter. She was born c1850 in Bryn Mawr, Breconshire. |

I just got the 1851 census up and it's got to be, in my 1861 census it has James Benton as from St James Middlesex though |

I'm sorry but I don't think Sylvia's on the right track. James is a schoolteacher & a retired schoolteacher in 1861 &1871. Rhoda is an assistant teacher in 1861. |
