hi all i have a thomas tustin b1851 hampton in arden warwickshire, i have found a george and charles who could possibly be his dad but for george i have found every census on him except 1841, i think he was born 1826 warwickshire but there is nothing on the census can anyone find anything please? thanks a lot jet:)

Using Find My Past search ..... Household TUSTIN, George 13 M Warwick I can't find this one on Ancestry so must be mistranscribed. Maybe someone with credit could check it out? Chris

Is this your Thomas on the 1851 census? Birkenhill Lane, Hampton in Arden, Warwickshire George Tustin, head, 26, ag lab Maria, wife, 21 Thomas, son, 2/5? months/weeks? (Very difficult to read but Thomas was born Hampton, Maria Barston but can't make out George's place of birth, has been transcribed as Butlers Marston, Warwickshire. Also wife's name has been transcribed as Marina. )

Free BMD has marriage of George Tustin & Maria Smith on same page, Dec. Q 1849, Meriden, Warwickshire which includes Hampton in Arden.

Jet He is a M.S (male servant) Although relationship to the head of household isn't given in the 1841 looking at the image I would say he is a servant to the Woolison? family he is listed under. Chris

hi mary thanks verymuch i think i found his parents on there too george and susannah but his dad george died in 1831 thats why i could not find him just looking for susannah she was born in 1791 it says but she may have married again:) is the another way to see if george had brothers or sisters? thanks again jet:)

Jet, on the 1881 census George has a niece living with them so he must have had a brother. She's Sarah Tustin born 1853 Leamington, Warwick. Going to go and look for her in 1861. Margaret

hi margaret just looking at that lol it looks like she married a thomas brown it states her dad is george tustin but she was born in 1853 and this one was born in 1838:( jet:)

The niece Sarah Tustin from the 81 census is mistranscribed on the 1861 census as Justin (the original looks like Tustin to me) She was also born 1853, Leamington but she's a visitor in another household so doesn't help. Margaret

well margaret i found her then found her death so wondering if she was sarahs mother it says sarah tustin b1808 butlers marston death 1852 leamington priors marriage to thomas brown 21 jan 1828 leamington but the 1881 census says sarah was born in 1853:( jet

And in 1871 she's a servant in another household!
