Havent had time to read everything - but if you are still searching for William's demise - what about the Star and Garter. he may have been wounded badly and spent many years in a home which might account for Henrietta not marrying until 1962. Alternatively here is a thought. The man Henrietta was living with might have been married before, and he might have been waiting for his first wife to die. This happened in my family. My grandparents didnt marry until they were in their 60's because my grandfather's previous wife was still alive and he never divorced her. Just a thought!! |
