You will find it quicker and cheaper to apply to the appropiate local Register Office. Many are very helpful and will search a little more than perhaps they are required to do. I usually send a s.a.e. with a cheque marked "NOT TO EXCEED £xx.xx" so they can take as much as needed for the certificates that they can find (or return the cheque if not found). You will find the addresses of the Register Office for the area on GENUKI. By the way, the price goes up in April. MB |
