Roseanne you can't use a gedcom file that has been saved as a word document. Word inserts lots of extra information into the file which effectively corrupts the data and its no longer a gedcom file. If you don't have an original file try copying that data from word and pasting it into a text editor such as notepad. Preferably though you should export the data from your family tree program in gedcom format and then upload that without using any third party application. |
