can anyone help me please, My Grandmothers maiden name on her birth certificate was Davis her Father was Jack Davis and mother Beatrice Davis nee Day, Yet on my Grandmothers marriage certificate it says her father was Charles Day, So I have no idea who her real father was and what my Great Grandmothers maiden name really was Day or Davis, she was born about 1893 but I cannot find her on the 1901 census, in either name or anywhere in the surrey area where she came from. Has anybody any ideas on what I can do now. I would appreciate any help Thank you Debbie |
