My great aunt (by marriage) was purported to have been Lord Gort's housekeeper somewhere near Kensington Gardens until her retirement. Her name was Ada Green, born Whitby 01/05/1879, died 24/06/71 aged 92. She never married. Has anyone got any idea how I can corroborate this? |
