UNCONTROLLED ACCESS TO OTHER MEMBERS FAMILY TREES VIA THE TIPS BOARD. Further to the messages yesterday from TAMSIN PLUMB and MARION STRANGE, I am most concerned that family trees may be being unintentionally transmitted to other members via the Tips Board. Looking at my contacts on the Contacts Board, I notice that all 3 contacts to date seem to have access to my tree, because the word "YES" appears. Surely it is imperative that this should default to "NO" - IN THE FIRST INSTANCE. It is difficult to know whether "YES" really does mean "YES". Like Tamsin, I have certainly been unable to change it to "NO"! Does anyone have any experience of trees being sent when they shouldn't please? |
