Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 184 Send Message	Christine- censuses were introduced in 1801 and taken every 10 yrs except 1941, but the returns up to 1831 not much use to us cos names not recorded. All the censuses from 1841 can be viewed free at Family Records in Islington, and also usually at the record office or archive library of the relevant county
