Can anyone think of anything else I can do I have traced a line of my family back to 1765 to the marriage of William Clilford but I dont know how his name was spelt at his birth or christening. His name changes 3 times in the records Clilford, Clilward and Clilferd with this track record I have tried to find his birth with various spellings but have hit a brick wall. Any help appreciated. (He does not seem to have been born in the Parish he was married in or any close by) |
